Western Oregon
In this section are photographs which anyone can get. Western Oregon
has hundreds of miles of back past logging roads. Just try driving down
them and you can spend countless hours on these roads.
Most of the time you just can not figure out where you are but they all come out somewhere so have plenty of fuel with you.
It is like a big maze with all the roads connecting.
I like what I call feeder streams that rush off the steep mountainside
to join the main streams and rivers in the area on their way to the
coastal drainage which ultimately empties into the Pacific Ocean. Here
use a small telephoto lens and pick out just a small part of what your
eyes are seeing. This will eliminate all the distractions and you can
see by these photos make quite a nice shot.
